So, I should you one of my favorite things in my simple, practical, DIY, campervan.
The Van Console Cooler Box- Here's how to make it even cooler!
You need 2 cans of spray foam, a cooler box, a cooler and some patience. By doubling the insulation of the cooler box- should increase the time that it takes to melt our ice. Maybe even by 2 days. The spray foam is nifty stuff. The cast was about $3.50 per can. So, 7 bucks to super insulate our Van console center box.

Every Travelling vessel needs a cockpit, a bridge, a command center. A place to set the course.

3R Blind Spot Mirror.

I thought it was goofy looking.
I decided to mount it to the mirror and try it out.
I was going to use it for my drive to work and then return it. ($7.48 is the cost)
It's still on there and it works great!
Once it's mounted to the mirror, you can adjust the mirror up, down, left and right.
You make the adjustment using the glass itself not the housing.
I mounted mine to the top of the mirror like is says and it really doesn't look as goofy as I thought it would.
It has a nice wide viewing angle and the mirror objects are large enough to see.
There's a point where a smaller blind spot mirror isn't effective and the main mirror needs to used.
This mirror very usable and is the right size for me and my older eyes.
When I used it to merge on the highway, I was able to see across all 4 lanes at the same time.
Very nice. I like it and its staying. (It is removable)
I'm finding I like this better than the stick-on blind spot mirrors I've used in the past.

Clicking sound and the inability to start can usually be caused by low power being supplied to your car's starter motor. 
Open up the car hood and check the car battery. 
If you see, crusty sometimes white, yellow, blue, green deposits on the terminals, clean the terminals to restore proper voltage supply from the car battery. 

Battery 
Check the battery connections for corrosion and or looseness.
Clean the battery terminals and tighten the connections.
Check the Battery Voltage. The battery should be over 12 volts.
If not, charge the battery. 
Or use battery jumper cables to jumpstart the car.
If the battery is charged and battery voltage is sufficient, the problem may be in the starter.

Why we chose our Van (Our Simple Camper Van Series)

When we decided to choose our DIY Camper Van, the Great White Buffalo- we looked at different types of Vans.

3 Most Important things to carry in your Van, DIY Campervan, RV or Motor...

These are the 3 most important things to carry in your DIY campervan, rv, camper etc.
A smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher.
I decided to go ahead and install mine since we like plan on camping in the winter time
and we will be using a propane heat source.
The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector together are less than $20.00 off Amazon.
I like the size of both of them and they should work nicely.

The smoke detector is a photoelectric smoke detector.
Steer away from Ion smoke detectors, they can take longer to 
alarm and they aren't as sensitive as the photoelectric versions.

The carbon monoxide detector has a lcd screen on it, that will allow
you to actually have a reading of how many parts per million (ppm) you are being exposed to. 
The LCD screen also changes to RED when dangerous levels of CO is detected.

As far as the installation of these safety items goes- follow the manufacturer's instructions.
